Who We Are

I started The Mama and Me because I wanted to create a place where mama's of all kinds can come and be a part of an amazing community where there is no judgment, only support. A place to find inspiration from each other and have some laughs along the way. Let's take this journey together and be a part of something amazing!

A little bit about me. I live in the Napa Valley area. I am a mom to a 1-year-old boy who is the sweetest, smartest most goofy human who lives to make people smile. And a stepmom to a 9-year girl who is the most thoughtful and kindest girl with a huge heart. I have a wonderful fiancé who supports me and loves me like crazy. I know, I’m a pretty lucky gal. 

Now, let's get into why I created The Mama and Me and what we are all about.  When I first found out I was going to become a mom, I quickly realized that there were a lot of opinions about what makes you a "good" mom.  And when I say opinions, I mean judgments and unsolicited advice. 

Like most moms, I drove myself into an anxiety-ridden mess trying to do all the "right" things to be the best mom. If my search history back then could talk, it would confirm my endless Googling of breast-feeding questions, poop schedules, sleep schedules, milestones, and so on. I felt overwhelmingly lost and was constantly worrying if I was failing at being a mom. 



I realized for the sake of my sanity, I had to stop the incessant online searches and the barrage of judgment and unwanted input that came with it. I was a great mom and I needed to focus on that.  And that is what led me to start The Mama and Me. 

I am creating this space for moms who want to show kindness to one another. Learn from one another, laugh with one another and show support for one another. I am so happy you found us and I hope that you feel welcome here.
